ESPOSITO - William Anthony "Bill", Sr. came home to the Lord on August 26, 2014 knowing that "The Best is Yet to Come."

"It's oh so nice to go traveling, but it's so much nicer to come home."

Bill, with his wife of 57 years, Lorraine ("Lori"), was a world traveler but was never happier than when playing with his grandchildren, golfing, raising his tomatoes and rooting for his beloved NY Yankees.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in West Germany.

Bill was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Mackay Council of St. Mary, Roslyn, and a member of the Brookville Country Club. He leaves behind countless friends.

In addition to his wife Lori, he is survived by his daughter Vivian Parisi (Charles) of Sea Cliff, NY; son William Anthony Esposito, Jr., (Kiem) of Locust Valley, NY and Paris, France; and daughter Michele Brown (Bryan) of Wylie, TX.

He is also survived by grandchildren Charles Jr., Emary and Eloise Parisi; Madison, Zoe, Leo, and Lola Esposito; and Bennett, William and Zachary Brown; sister-in-law Rosemarie Damiano of Beechhurst, NY; nephew John Damiano (Jessica) of Glenwood Landing, NY; grandnieces Justine and Julia Damiano; and cousin Vincent Esposito of St. Marco, CA.

Services held at Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head, NY. Funeral Mass at St. Mary´s R.C. Church, Roslyn, NY. Interment at Locust Valley Cemetery, Locust Valley, NY.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the St. Francis Hospital Foundation, Roslyn, NY in Bill's memory and in appreciation of the wonderful care he received there.
