Mr. Baker was a veteran of the United States Army and he was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Baker was employed at Cone Automatic Machine Tool Co. and later at the Vermont State Prison. He retired from Cone Blanchard in 1980.
He was a lifetime member and past commander of American Legion Post 25 in Windsor, Windsor Elks Lodge 1665 and the Moose Lodge 679 in Springfield.
