Thomas Jasper attended Benton High school, after graduation he attended the Southern Illinois Normal University graduating in 1902. After graduation he under took the study of law in the office of his uncle. He was admitted to the State bar in 1904.
In November of 1910 he was elected to the bench and served as the county Judge.He was pictured with his wife and two small daughters as he took the oath of his office.
