He was a 1946 U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Visiting at Laird Funeral Home, Union Street, Natchez, Miss., on Monday, Feb. 5, from 1 p.m. until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by Ken Spivey, pastor. Interment in Natchez City Cemetery in Natchez.
Survived by three daughters, Phyllis Cherek, Pat Plana and Penney Achee; four sisters; a brother; his beloved Marie, who was by his side until the end; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by son, Dalton; and daughter, Pam.
