Elias Abi-Nader of Silver Spring, MD, passed away on December 3, 2013 at the age of 72.
He was born to Jean R. and Elizabeth J. AbiNader on April 6, 1941.
He attended All Saints High School and graduated in 1958.
After serving in the Armed Forces, 7th Army, from 1958-1961, he graduated from West Virginia University in 1964, and attended graduate school at the University of Pittsburgh.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth, in 2002; and his wife, Anne Hankins, in 1999.
Elias worked in international business development, restaurant and retail management and private transportation services.
Elias had a passion for history and politics. He was active in the Leisure World community, a member of Our Lady of Grace Church, and a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus.
