July 31, 1927 - July 25, 2014
William Aceves, beloved husband and father, passed away on July 25th from the effects of a stroke. Born in El Paso, Texas, Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and lived in Livermore with his family since 1953. He gave 37 years of service to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where he worked as an MMED supervisor.
He is survived by daughter Susan Aceves of Tracy, son Randy Aceves and wife Chrystal of Livermore, son William R. Aceves and fiancée Sheila of Oakland, and other family in Benicia, Los Angeles and El Paso.
Visitation will be at Callaghan Mortuary Chapel on Monday, August 4 from 5pm to 8pm. A Chapel Blessing Service will be at Callaghan on Tuesday, August 5 at 11am, followed by interment at Memory Gardens in Livermore.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the East Bay SPCA.
