On March 15, 2012, Dortha E. Casey reached up and caught a fluffy blue cloud that sped her into the arms of her Heavenly Father. Born to David Heath and Johnnie Texanna Heath in Semonile, Oklahoma on August 28, 1924. Dortha went ahead to prepare a place for two daughters Barbara Lee, husband Joe Lee and Elaine Erekson, husband A.D. "Bubba" Erekson of Knoxville, Tennessee. Dortha was so proud of her family, four grandchildren Jeff Lee and wife Cheri Hanna Lee, Rene' Lee Lambert and husband Anthony (Tony) Lambert of Gonzales, Debra Mayeux and Don Erekson of Knoxville, Tennessee. Dortha was fondly called G.G. by her great grandchildren and all their friends. Great grandchildren are Claire and Zack Lee, Logan Lambert- US Marine, Austin Lambert, Evan Lambert, Natalie Lambert of Gonzales, Alexis, Aubrey and Avery Mayeux of Knoxvillle, Tennessee. Preceded in death by husband of sixty years, Wayne Casey, father David Heath, mother Johnnie Texanna Heath, brothers Dalton, Audy Heath, sister Joy Heasley. Survived by loving brother Don Heath and wife Janie of Temple Texas, three sister in laws, Skeet Heath of Huntsville, TX, Pasty Heath of Temple, TX, Dixie Casey of Gerald, Texas and a multitude of people who loved her as well as nieces and nephews. Wake at Ourso Funeral Home from 5:00pm - 9:00pm on Friday, March 16, 2012 . On Saturday, March 17, 2012 there will be a viewing at The Church in St. Amant, Hwy 431 from 8-10. Religious Service at 10:00 am at The Church in St. Amant conducted by Jay St. Amant and Pastor Mark Stermer of The Church in St. Amant. Burial at Resthaven, Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA.
