MORRIS, MINN. — (U.P) - Dr. John W. Harris, pioneer Minnesota dentist, was killed in an auto accident at Alberta, Minn., near here Saturday night.
His 82-year-old wife was critically injured in the accident.
Authorities said the car driven by 92-year-old dentist collided with a pickup truck driven by Joseph H. Jacobson, an Alberta farmer. Jacobson, his wife and 14-year-old daughter, Catherine, suffered minor injuries in the accident.
Dr. Harris practiced dentistry here for more than 60 years. At the time of his retirement in 1946 he was one of the oldest dentists in the state.

2nd Person Dies of Injuries Suffered In Alberta Mishap
Morris, Minn. (AP) — Mrs. Nellie Gray Harris, 81, died here early Wednesday of injuries suffered Saturday night in a highway accident in Alberta, Minn., in which her husband, Dr. John W. Harris, was instantly killed.
Dr. Harris, 92, had been a Morris dentist for 60 years before retiring five years ago.
Both Dr. Harris and his wife nad been civic leaders in Morris for many years.
Surviving are their three dentist sons, Dr. Stanley A. Harris of Perham, Dr. Richard V. Harris of
Roseau, and Dr. Jack G. Harris of Red Lake Falls, and two daughters, Mrs. B. W. Bingham of Los Angeles and Mrs. J. R. Pershall of Glencoe, Ill.
There was to be no public funeral services. Memorial services for the couple were to be held at 2 p.m. today in the Federated church of Morris. Burial will be in Morris.
