Friedrich Gottlob Haserick's son Emil Friedrich was born on May 12, 1849 in Ernstthal --- today Hohenstein-Ernstthal, Kreis Zwickau, Sachsen (Germany) --- and is stated in the Haserick family chronicle as "born Reichelt".
He was a teamster, an a barn boss (a man whose duty it was to care for the horses and stables in a logging camp; same as feeder) at the Spina ???? (illegible)
Spina is an abandoned townsite in Great Scott Township in St. Louis County, Minnesota, United States. The village of Spina was established after W.J. Power gained control of the Kinney Mine in 1909. It was served by a station of the Great Northern Railway.
