Fred Victor Cunha was born on February 15, 1936 in Watsonville, CA, and was raised in the Watsonville area. His parents, Fred Howard Cunha and Victoria Tognetti Cunha were first generation Americans and instilled in Fred a love of country and of heritage. Fred was a proud American who served in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant, Military Police. He received a BS in accounting from Wayne University. He started his own Public Accountants Practice in Watsonville in 1964, after working with his brother-in-law for 8 years and passing the CPA exam. He continued in that endeavor until he passed away in Placer County, California, on February 21, 2011. Fred is survived by his wife, Lynn N. Cunha, 8 children, 36 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, as well as his younger sister, Patricia.
