Mr. Sparks suffered a heart attack Saturday morning and was taken to the Hansford County hospital. He was buried beside his wife, who preceded him in death two years ago, in the Hansford Cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Sparks came to Hansford County forty years ago and lived on a farm west of Spearman.
Later they moved to Stinnett and lived until Mrs. Sparks' health failed. They then moved to old Hansford and lived there until her death.
Mr. Sparks was the father of Litch Sparks, Jr., of Stinnett.
