Though she died with the surname McIntosh, my great-grandmother's children were Davises, the name by which anyone in the family would look for her. That's why I'm listing her this way.

My great-grandmother divorced my great-grandfather George Washington Davis. Later she married William Shirley McIntosh, but divorced a second time. My grandfather was widowed with 5 teenage children. He moved his divorced mother in to help care for them. Thus my mother knew her as "Gramma Mac" rather than Gramma Davis.

But Evelyn did not have a motherly personality, and did not get along with the children. Grampa Harry Davis sent his mother away and raised his children with the help of hired girls.

I believe this was originally called the Knauss Cemetery.
