Kingsbury Covey b. 1775 is said to be buried on his homestead. "The Old Covey Farm" without a tombstone.
He owned a saw mill on the Fifteen Creek on his land in Lawrence Township. Which he left to his sons in his will.
Kingsbury made out his will in June 1840 and it was probated Aug. 1840. in Lawrence, Washington County, Ohio.
His wife Mary/Polly Bennett Covey is living with her son William Covey in the 1850 Lawrence Township, Washington County, OH census..Fifteen Creek ran through his land. The sawmill was a old logging town.
Richard Burkenpas says " Kingsbury Covey's burial site. Area has no maintenance so it is grown over with weeds and grass"..Richard furnished a picture of "The Old Covey Farm gravesite" no names listed, he said it was overgrown.
