David McGregor (born at ("Glenview" Glengate,Kirriemuir circa 1872) worked as a bootmaker in the boot factory in Kirriemuir until it closed down. He left Kirriemuir and found employment in Lochgelly, leaving his wife Elizabeth, his son David, and his daughters Annie Elizabeth (Cissy) and Margaret Nan in Kirriemuir. His military service was with the Forfar and Fife Yeomanry, WW2 Local Defense Volunteer (LDV). He died 1954 in the Dundee Royal Infirmary.
