Barbara Evelyn (Ault) Unger, 96, of Hoopeston, died at 10:45 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014 at Heritage Health in Hoopeston.
She was born on a farm near Attica, Indiana on Feb. 4, 1918, the daughter of Lorenzo Carl and Ruth Pauline (Lindburg) Ault. She married Elmer Paul Unger on Jan. 31, 1939. He preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 2007. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Bernice Hamilton and Carla Duvall; one brother, Charles Ault and one granddaughter, Dawn Dunn.
Surviving are four children, Sandra Lee Malone, Elmer Paul (Judith) Unger, Stephen Allen (Marilyn) Unger and Sue Ellen (Richard) Williamson; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
