A celebration of life will be held March 2 for Eloise Darlene "Elly" Hodges of Eugene, who died Feb. 27 of cancer. She was 67.

She was born June 18, 1938, in Cottage Grove, to Howard and Ella Rose Nute.

She worked in the floral industry. She enjoyed camping, crafts, cooking, music and floral arranging, attending church and spending time with her family. She was a greeter at the Living Word Fellowship.

Survivors include four sons, David Cloud of St. Helens, Darin Braley of Harrisburg, Dennis Braley of Creswell and Lex Braley of Springfield; three daughters, Darla Williams and Denine Shive, of Springfield, and Delanie Ganieany of Creswell; a fiance, Warren Free of Eugene; a brother, Gerald Nute of Junction City; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Thursday's celebration will be held at 7 p.m. at the Living Word Fellowship in Junction City. Inurnment will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens. Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Living Word Fellowship.
