Died at age 21 ; is this perhaps a centotaph or memorial because Peter Gansevoort son of Mary Chandonette and Leonard H Gansevoort sr , died at sea on March of 1832 (no exact date known as yet) and was born Aug 26 1810. His parents lived in Northumberland just after they were married and Leonard was serving as an Atty there and living in the "Old Yellow House" (later made an historic landmark and is now privately owned) in present day Gansevoort (renamed part of the area of Northumberland to Gansevoort in honor of the family whose ancestor was the 'hero of ft stanwix' general peter gansevoort.
