23 years old, in Belgium, by accident, June 9, 2002, of New York, formerly of Needham and Bridgton, ME. Beloved daughter of John F. "Jack" and Kathleen F. (Sullivan) Ahern. Loving sister of PFC. John J. "JJ" Ahern of the 10th Mountain Div. U.S. Army, Fort Drum, NY and Heather A. and her husband David Huish of Farmington, ME. Granddaughter of Dorothy F. Ahern of Jamaica Plain and the late Edmund F. Ahern and the late Jeremiah and Bridie Sullivan. Dear aunt of Zoe Elizabeth and Gretchen Ann Huish of Farmington, ME. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Avenue, NEEDHAM, on Wednesday at 9AM. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Joseph Church at 10AM. Visiting hours on Tuesday 3-8PM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment at Saint Mary Cemetery. Late graduate Needham High School Class of 1996 and Columbia University Class of 2000. 3 Sport Captain Needham High School and Captain of the Women's Soccer Team Columbia University. Late employee of the Hudson Hotel in Manhattan. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the: Alison K. Ahern Memorial Fund in c/o William F. Brooks, Esq., 210 Broadway, Suite 102, Lynnfield, MA 01940.
