Ethel C. Bennett was my grandmother, she gave birth to 9 children, 2 died as small children.She married Harry B. Bennett in 1916 and gave birth to her first child in Jan of 1918.She lived her whole life in Jasper county in S.C. She also helped raise several of her grandchildren and she was a loyal parisioner of the Maye River Baptist Church where she attended most of her life. I was fortunate to get very close to my grandmother in my adult years and there were 19 grandchilren at the time of her death. She passed away one month after losing her last surviving daughter. She was also a big Atlanta Braves baseball fan. She is very missed.
