Gastonia ~ Dan Roger Caldwell, 82, was a son of the late Jacob Floyd Caldwell and Sally Mae Myers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Pauline Caldwell, two sisters Joyce Halus and Marlene Earley.
Roger was a lifetime member of Temple Baptist Church. He retired as a captain with thirty-three years of service with the City of Gastonia Fire Department. He was also a veteran in which he served in the US Navy as an aircraft mechanic on the B-17 and various other aircraft.
Interment in Gaston Memorial Park.
