Topeka State Journal Monday August 1, 1977, pg. 12:

OSKALOOSA - Services will be Tuesday in the United Methodist Church at Ozawkie for Mrs. Blanche M. Kramer, 89, Rte. 2, Oskaloosa, who died Saturday night in a Winchester hospital where she had been a patient since July 19. She was born June 12, 1888 at Ozawkie and spent most of her life in the Ozawkie and Oskaloosa communities. Mrs. Kramer was a member of Rebekah Lodge No. 657 and Pleasant View Grange, both at Ozawkie.
She was married to Ernest Kramer on Sept. 9, 1908 in Topeka. He died April 8, 1953. A son, Leonard Willard Kramer, die infancy. Another son, Edwin R. Kramer, died Jan. 5, 1967.
Survivors include 5 daughters, Mrs. Gwendolyn Elliott, Mount Angel, Ore., Mrs. Leora Hartenstine and Mrs. Dorothy E. Cunningham, both of Topeka, Mrs. Betty Slawson, San Antonio, and Mrs. Virginia Turner, Oskaloosa; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Ozawkie Cemetery. Hampton-Barrett Funeral Home at Oskaloosa is in charge of arrangements.
