Flora Bauder Obit: Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Bauder, mother of Mrs. James Weaver of Wray, were conducted at the Hendricks Chappel in Burlington on Thursday afternoon, May 11, with the Reverend Don Castonia officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Flora May Bauder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Stafford, was born at Decatur, Ill., on June 12, 1896. She died May 8, 1961, at Presbyterian hospital in Denver after a long illness, She was 65 years, 10 months and 26 days old at the time of her death. She came to Colorado with her parents when elevan years old and was married to Emil Lundvall in 1911. The Hale community, where they were noted for their free watermelon days, was their home for twenty years. They were the parents of four daughters and two sons, on of whom, Archie, preceded his mother in death. She was united in marriage to Chris Bauder in November 1941 and became a member of the Burlington Seventh Day Adventist Church on November 6, 1955. She will always be remembered as a faithful and loving mother by her family and friends. Survivors include four daughters, Ethel Weaver of Wray, Thelma Williams of Grant City, Mo., Violet Knapp and Lillian Lengel of Burlington; one son, Virgil Lundvall of Burlington; one step daughter, Margerie Thompson of Denver; her sister, Eva Doerfer of Penrose and Hazel Wiggins of St. Francis, Kansas, Harold Stafford of Grand Junction, Ralph Stafford of Kansas City and Edward Stafford of Burlington; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
