Ann Elizabeth Dohmen, age 75 of Hampton, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday morning, August 28, 2014.

Ann was born on January 22, 1939 in Hastings, the daughter of Theodore and Anna (Kneifel) Salzl.
She married Eugene Dohmen on November 22, 1958 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Hastings. They raised their family together, and were her pride and joy.

She is survived by her husband of over 55 years, Eugene "Gene"; her children, Peter Dohmen (friend Sheri Olson) of Randolph, Donna (David) Neubauer of Claremont, Vicky Dohmen of Hampton, Connie (Russ) Frandrup of Randolph, Scott (Laura) Dohmen of Hastings, and Cindy (Tony) Zaworski of So. St. Paul; 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Salzl of Maplewood; sister Viola Hynden of Sun City, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Eugene; brothers, Johnny and Peter Salzl; and sisters, Madeline Moes, Marie Kelly, and Theresa Tix.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Sep. 2 from 4-8 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Sep. 3 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation from 10-11 a.m., at St. Mathias Catholic Church in Hampton. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be grandsons, Jake Dohmen, Nathan Neubauer, Mark Dohmen, Bryce Frandrup, Ryan Dohmen, and Zach Zaworski. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Justin Neubauer, Steven Neubauer, Kyle Dohmen, and Joseph Dohmen.
