Richard F. “Dick” Angell, age 83 of Gettysburg, Pa died Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Golden Living
Center in Gettysburg after a long battle with cancer. Born in Gettysburg on August 08, 1931, he was the son of the late Robert & Viola (Koontz) Angell.
Dick is survived by his wife of 64 years, Anna Louise (Decker) Angell.
Dick retired from the Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village after many years of service and for a number of years was employed by Kerrigan The Paint Contractors in Gettysburg.
In addition to his wife Anna, Dick is survived by his son James Richard Angell and wife Alice of York Springs, PA, two sisters; Betty Myers of Lakeland, Fl and Audrey Rippeon of Inwood, WVA. He was predeceased by his two brothers; Harold & Larry Angell.
Interment and Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg with Rev. Jay Zimmerman, officiating.
