He was born east of Galva April 1, 1904.
Surviving are three brothers, Holger Ahlberg, Ivan Ahlberg and Leonard Ahlberg, all of Galva; and one sister, Golda Ahlberg of Galva.
He was educated in rural schools and attended Galva High School. He worked for various factories in Galva and later opened his own plumbing and heating business in Galva. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church of Galva.
Private funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. in Johnson-Gill-Schuster Chapel, the Rev. Philip O. Laurin officiating. Burial will be in Galva Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel Monday from 11 a.m. until the service.
Memorials may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, the family said.
