Major League Baseball Player. Primarily a third baseman, he played in the International League until 1913, when he was sold to the New York Yankees and played there until 1917. He was traded to the St. Louis Browns for the 1918 season. He also played at second base and the outfield. Over his six year career, he batted .242 with 6 home runs 148 runs batted in. He led in stolen bases in 1914 with 74. His younger brother George also played pro ball. He later went on to scouted for Baltimore beginning in 1954 and was also the Chief of the Baltimore County Fire Department.
