Mr. Lamkin was born Aug. 22, 1910, in Jonesboro, Ark., to Thomas and Ruth (Mantle) Lamkin, who are deceased. He was married June 12, 1936, to Mildred Marie Hassell, who is deceased. He is survived by a son, Roy Wayne; a daughter, Billie Murch; two brothers, Paul and Charles; and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Road. A private family inurnment is planned. Pikes Peak Funeral and Cremation Services, 3825 Airport Road, 596-7991, is handling arrangements.
