E.E.Larned was born in Nebraska to Elias and Sarah Goosman Larned. He married Rachel "Anna" Webber in Nebraska and in about 1915 they moved to the Willamette Valley of Oregon. While in Nebraska they had four children, Elmer, Audra (Spencer), Elsie (Wojciechowskie) and Everett. All four are buried in the same plot area as their parents. E.E. was a carpenter as well as a plaster contractor and build several homes in the Corvallis area, a brick home on SW 10th and another home on Kiger Island. In the 50's he build another home on Pettibone Road as well as homes for each daughter.

E.E. and Anna lost their sons just 3 months apart, Everett to an auto accident and Elmer to pneumonia.

He used to tell wonderful stories, when I told my Mom that I wish I had recorded them, she said that was okay because they were all lies anyway.....

Rest in Peace great granpa. Susan
