Frank grew up in the Brainard & Dwight, NE area. He graduated from Brainard High School in the Class of 1957 and entered the U.S. Marine Corps. He married Lena Robinson on 9 May 1961 in Lincoln, NE. They moved to Emerald, NE. In 1975, Frank was in a car accident that left him paralyzed. He endured the years of rehabilitation and therapy with strength, humility and acceptance. When he was able, he went to work for the Nebraska Job Service.
Frank loved family and enjoyed getting together and the family reunions. Frank and Lena had two children, Michael and Michelle. Frank adored his children and two grandchildren; he was a good husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend.
