Michael Hanson, 64, died of natural causes Friday, December 21, 2007 at his home on E. 28th Street. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday at the Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.
Mike was born in Los Angeles, California and has lived in Des Moines since 1959. He worked as a laborer in the Des Moines area.
Survivors include his brothers, Lance (Donna) Hanson of Des Moines, Phill Knight of Knoxville; lots of nieces and nephews, and his special friend, Mildred Morris.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday at Grandview Park Funeral Home.
