A lifelong resident of Erie, she graduated from Academy High School in 1929, and majored in business at the University of Pittsburgh - Erie Center. She was the private secretary for the Superintendent of County Schools for 39 years, retiring in 1972. Miss Farver was a member of Lutheran Memorial Church. She had been a member of the Business and Professional Women's Assoc. for sixty years and enjoyed bowling.
She was preceded in death by three cousins, Richard Farver, Helen Lewis, and Rev. Clem Farver.
Survivors include two cousins, Ione Swift of Edinboro, Pa., and John Burton Farver and wife Helen of Santa Maria, Calif.; her dear friend, Mercedes Nelson of Erie; and numerous second cousins.
