MRS. ANNA C. AIKINS, 71, of Elderton, passed away Friday, January 15,1965, at her late home.
A daughter of Joseph and Margaret Calhoun Harman, she was born August 13, 1886 in Plumcreek Twp., Armstrong Co.
She was a member of First Christ Lutheran Church of Gastown, and the WCTU of Elderton.
Survivors include her husband Jesse 0. Aikins; five sons and two daughters: Kenneth, Shelocta R.D.1; Laird, Star Route Apollo; Dean, of Saltsburg; Leland C., and Charles F., both of Elderton; Mrs. Charles (Lois) Hall, Avonmore, and Mrs. Daniel (Cleo) Cunningham of Saltsburg.
Friends will be received at the Clark Funeral Home, Elderton, from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, and until 12 o'clock noon Monday. Friends may also pay their respect from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday at First Christ Lutheran Church where services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Gary G. Scott, officiating. Interment will be in Elderton Cemetery.
