Garland Wayne Adaire age 79 of Dardanelle passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at River valley Medical Center. He was born December 23, 1934 at Yell County to the late William Herman and Anna Miller Adaire. He was a member of the Slaty Crossing Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Peggy Standridge.
Survivors include his son, Timothy Wayne Adaire and wife Sherry of McRae; his daughter, Janice Gail Rains and husband Jerry of Louisiana; one brother, Gary Lynn Adaire and wife Belinda of Dardanelle; two sisters, Corella Wells of Dardanelle, Barbara Jo Spaul and husband Buddy of Casa; three grandchildren, Brandon Adaire and wife Amanda of Beebe, Nicole Adaire of Beebe and Desiree Rains Collum and husband David of Louisiana; one great grandchild, Payton Collum of Louisiana.
Funeral services were held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Slaty Crossing Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Denver Robinson officiating. Burial was in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle.
Pallbearers were Jerry Rains, Jackie Creel, Rance Claypool, Lavan Robinson, Corey Adaire, Darrell Robinson.
