"DEATH OF MILO A. DANIELS.
Former Hotel Man and Veteran of the Civil War -- Resident of Pittsfield Five Years.

Milo A. Daniels, 72, died at 8 o'clock Sunday morning at his home, 206 Francis avenue. He was in the hotel business for may years but retired some time ago. He went to Pittsfield five years ago from Stephentown, N.Y., where he conducted the Vanderbilt hotel for may years. Mr. Daniels was born March 14, 1841, at Day Center, N.Y., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Amherst Daniels, being one of a family of 15 children. He enlisted in Co B, 25th New York regiment, on September 22, 1862, and fought with the regiment in the civil war until November 25, 1863, when his time expired.

He married Miss Catherine Curtiss at Garfield, N.Y., in 1863, and she survives, as do three children. Mrs. Walter Moore and William B. and Samuel J. Daniels of Pittsfield; seven sisters, Mrs. Mary Bloss of Wards Creek, Mich., Mrs. Delilah Shufelt of Rensselaerville, N.Y., Mrs. Celestia White of Corinth, N.Y., Mrs. Amy Dingman of Concklinville, N.Y., Mrs. Ella Bemis of Gloversville, N.Y., Mrs. Ada Winnie of Green Island, N.Y., and Miss Mila Daniels of Sandy Hill, N.Y.; and three brothers, Ami Daniels of Luzerno, N.Y., Wyeth Daniels of Spear Falls, N.Y., and James Daniels of Fort Ann, N.Y."
