OBITUARY Iron River (MI) Reporter Nov 1 1989 "Obituaries: Robert Anderson"
BRIGHTON-Robert G. Anderson, 60, of Brighton, a former Mineral Hills resident, died Oct. 19.
He was born in May 1929 in Iron River, the son of Evelyn and George Anderson. He attended the Iron River schools and graduated from Iron River High School in 1947. After spending four years in the Navy, he graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in education. He taught in the Detroit area and served as an assistant principal in the Farmington schools.
He is survived by his wife Lila; three daughters, Lisa Anderson, Lori Nordin and Bobbie Heckel, all of Farmington; his mother Evelyn Anderson of Brighton; a son David of Farmington; a sister Shirley Conger of Farmington Hills; and a grandchild.
Services were held Oct. 23 in Farmington.
Burial was in Glen Eden Cemetery in Farmington.
