Lola is the daughter of Violet (Lundvall) and Don Knapp. She was married to Roy Clark. Lola never had any children, she lived in Kit Carson County, Colorado.

Lola Elaine clark was the only child of Violet and the late Donald Knapp. She was born on the Knapp home place, just off of Highway 385, between Burlington and Idalia on May 2, 1934.She attended Newton School and graduated from Burlington High School in 1951. Shortly after graduation she met and married Roy Clark, and they moved to Denver where they lived untill returning to the home place, 12 years ago, and built a new home just over the hill from Lola's mother.Lola enjoyed being a homemaker and loved gardening. She was a gracious hostess, welcoming all to her home. Lola passed away Thursday, May 11, 1995. Lola leaves her husband Roy, Her mother Violet and her Aunt Lillian (with whom she was raised as a sister), and various aunts and uncles who mourn her loss. Services were held Monday, May 15, 1995, 10:30 a.m. at Hendricks-Love Chapel in Burlington, with Reverend sue Gardner of St. John church of Christ at Idalia officiating. Musical selections were "Wings Of a Dove, " "Peace in the Valley, " and "Amazing Grace," sung by Velda Adolf accompaning him on the organ. Casket bearers were Mark Lengel, Randy Boden, John Homm, Larry Homm, Ronald Lengel and Richard armknecht. Honorary escorts were Harold Ebeler, Jack Schutte, Lore Lee Senti and Elmer Ebeler. She was buried in the family plot at Fairview cemetery in Burlington. Hendricks-Love Mortuary handled the arrangements. A memorial fund has been established at The First National Bank at Burlington in Lola's name.

Thank you to everyone who was so good to us and stood by us through Lola's sickness and death. It meant so much to Lola to have her friends. Thank you for all the beautiful flowers that were given to her while she could still enjoy them; also all the flowers afterwards at her funeral.
Thank you to the ladies of St. John Church who served dinner for us and to everyone that brought food to us.
Last, but not least, thank you to Reverend Sue Gardner for all of your kindness, word of comfort, and the comfort and prayer and Lola - she looked forward to your visits.
