Viola "Toots" Kelley, 98, a longtime Janesville resident, passed away on Thursday morning, March 24, 2005, at Rock Haven. She was born Dec. 15, 1906, in Perry Township, WI; daughter of the late Alfred & Emma (Langlie) Anderson. On June 12, 1928, she married Harold G. Kelley in Rockford, IL. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1945. Viola had been employed at the Parker Pen Co. for many years, a job she very much enjoyed, until her retirement. She is survived by her son, Hayden B. Kelley of Milwaukee, WI; 2 daughters, Patricia D. Logan of Janesville, and Colleen R. (Samuel) Moccero of Chandler, AZ; a sister, Lillian Virgin of Los Altos, CA; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and by other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Allan V. Kelley; a daughter-in-law, Cynthia J. Kelley; 5 brothers; and a sister. At her request, cremation will take place and there will be no services held. The WHITCOMB-LYNCH-ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME, Janesville, is assisting her family with arrangements.
