American Actress and Pop Singer.
Most notable for competing on a FOX reality television talent competition "The X Factor" 2011 United States season one. On the October 24, 2011 episode she wrote and released a hit song “He Likes Boys.” In 2012 she was a correspondent on Black Entertainment Television's (BET) number one music video show "106 & Park," an American hip hop and rhythm and blues countdown show. Having recently signed and confirmed record labels with Kemosabe Records and RCA Records with future plans to release more solo singles. By February 2013, she was a member of the music group 'G.R.L' and together released three music videos. Their catchy song, “Ugly Heart” was released early this summer and became a global hit. In July 2014 the group released a self-titled five-song Extended Play and in October 2014 performed on ABC's "Good Morning America." The middle child of Donna Morgan and Anthony Battle made her television debut in 2006 appearing on the CBS television network series "Everybody Hates Chris" following with an appearance on Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101." Her film debut came six years later performing a lead role in the 2012 movie "We the Party" written and directed by Mario Van Peebles. Simone Sherise Battle committed suicide in her West Hollywood apartment at the age of 25.
