Rena was my dear Mother in Law:
She passed away at the McAlister Hospital at McAlister, Oklahoma. She'd had lung cancer a few years previously and had to have one of her lungs removed. It came back again to her other lung. She was a wonderful person, so sweet and kind.
Her family misses her very much.
Rena was the daughter of Robert Lee Franklin and Verna Inez Hughes Franklin. She grew up and around Pettigrew Arkansas. She married Virgil Kilpatrick and out of that union she had 2 sons and 1 daughter- Rickie, Robbie, and Debbie. She later married Burl Howard and out of that union she had 1 daughter Pam. She made her home in Caney, Oklahoma and later Stringtown, Oklahoma until her death. She was a member of the Stringtown Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her mother and father, a brother Ray Franklin, and a sister Marion "Ruth" Franklin. Her other siblings are: Rex Franklin (who has since passed). Rena was a waitress most of her life. She loved to sew and she loved her grandkids. She will always be missed by her family & friends.
