SWEAT Merle Virginia "Peggy" Watson Sweat, 82, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013. She was born in White Springs, Florida on August 23, 1930 to John Watson, and Clara Milton Watson.

Merle was preceded in death by her husband, George Sweat, and her daughter, Brenda Kogut.

She is survived by her daughter, Debarah Mae Hardee Peck; her brother, Ted Watson; son-in-law, Barry Kogut; 4 grandchildren, Scott, Leah, Michael, and Christopher; 3 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, and Emma.

A Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 11:00am, May 15, 2013, Hardage-Giddens Main Street Funeral Home, 4315 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL. 32206.

In lieu of flowers you may send memorials to Nassau County Humane Society, or Cats Angels.
