Kenneth Lee Hartman, 64, of Columbus, OH passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully in his sleep on September 3, 2014.

Kenny was a 1968 graduate of Central High School, bookbinder by trade and worked for Cott Index for 37 years. Recently retired, Kenny enjoyed the outdoors – hunting, fishing, boating and all types of motorsports. He raced cars for years, rode motorcycles and loved hanging out at the “garage” with his best buddies – Terry Blizzard, Beannie Taylor, Bob Thompson and Wade Ward. Kenny was quiet, reserved, somewhat stubborn and sometimes shy, although quick to play innocent pranks on the unsuspecting and always ready to share a good laugh. An all-around good guy, dear son, big brother, father, grandfather, uncle and loyal friend who will be deeply missed by those lucky enough to have known him.

Kenny is survived by his mother, June Hartman; brother, Rick Hartman (Sandy); sisters, Lori Hartman (Barbara Jurjans) and Teresa Oiler; children, Melissa Thome, Kenny Robinson, and Breann Hartman; 8 grandchildren; 5 nieces and nephews; preceeded in death by his father, Kenneth L. Hartman in 1994, and brother-in-law, Bryan E. Oiler in September, 2013.

Visitation will be held at SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME in Grove City on Friday, September 12 from 6-8 PM with a memorial service at 8 PM. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery on Saturday, September 13 at 11 AM.
