He was born Aug. 10, 2008, in Crow Agency, a son of Latasha Little Light and Dwayne Blacksmith. He was an active young boy who enjoyed playing guns and swords with his siblings in the outdoors.
His grandfather Wayne Little Light, uncle Jordan Blacksmith and great-grandparents Richard (Cesyl) Eastman, Becker Little Light Sr., Dolly Hunts Arrow, Lacey (Dorothy) Takes Enemy, Ellsworth Ten Bear, Esther Pretty Weasel and Evangeline Whiteman Runs Him preceded Jaren in death.
