ELVIRA HUBER OWEN -- on January 4, 1974 at a local infirmary. She is survived by her husband, William H. Owen; daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Pruett; son, Carlton Owen; two grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Florence Hibdon, Lebanon, Mrs. Lillian Vaughan, Mrs. Ruby Bibb, and Mrs. Ester Sweat, all of Nashville; two brothers, Harold Huber of California, and Henry Huber of Nashville.
Her remains are at Eastland Chapel, 904 Gallatin Road, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 1974, with Rev. E. R. Driver and Rev. J. Billy McIntosh officiating. Interment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are members of the First Assembly of God Church on Antioch Pike, and employees of Yarbrough Supply Company. Active pallbearers are William Thomas Owen, Carlton Owen, Jr., Bob Pruett, James Russell, Henry Davis and Charles Upton.
