John C married Cynthia Sharp on 24 Dec 1829 in Claiborne County, Tennessee. Cynthia (my 3rd g grandmother) is said to be buried in Ausmus Cemetery, Speedwell. However, no record or stone as of yet shows this. Also, at the time of Cynthia's passing they were living/visiting in Union Co., TN. It is possible since he remarried in Union to Zelphia Haynes, that Cynthia is buried in Union. I have no records or stone to show either. There are two Ausmus burials in Union Co., with no names just rocks. The 2 burials are on what is now TVA land, probably when the dam was created.
