James Goodwin "Seagoing" Moore, 83, of Princess Anne, formerly of Crisfield, died Thursday, May 16, 1991, at the Wicomico Nursing Home in Salisbury of congestive heart failure.
Born in Saxis, Va., he was a son of the late William L. and Martha Ann Moore.
Moore was a retired grocer and former owner of Moore's Market in Salisbury. He was a World War II Coast Guard veteran.
He is survived by two children, and two brothers, Gorman "Blondie" Moore of Crisfield and Ralston Moore of Jacksonville, Fla.
The Rev. Jonas Taylor conducted the graveside service Monday at the American Legion Cemetery in Crisfield.
