Frances Locadi (Chapai) Munro of Rogers, Ark. spread her wings on Sept. 9, 2014 at the age of 85 yrs. at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark. She was born on Oct. 24, 1928 in Wheaton, Illinois to the late Leo and Rehama (Hines) Chapai.

Frances attended Greeley Grade School and Peoria High School in Peoria, Ill. She married Thomas Munro December 14, 1949 in Des Moines, Iowa. After moving to Arkansas, she went to work for Gordos Corp. for 19 yrs. When it closed she went to NW Arkansas Community College and in 1995, at age 66, received her diploma.

Frances enjoyed traveling, bingo, stamp collecting, working on her farm and loved her Church Family and weekly meetings with her Connect Group.

Survivors include sons, Robert Munro of Bentonville, Larry Munro and wife Barbara of Apple Valley, Calif., Frances Unzicker of Bentonville; daughters, Eva Brothers of Rogers, Brenda Burns and husband Jack of Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Nellie Pennington of Calif., Audry Davis of Metamora, Illinois; sister-in-law Lucille (Clutts) Chapai of Peoria, Ill.; a special friend Sharon Nelson; and a very special granddaughter, her care giver Stacey Marie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 daughter, 1 grandson, mother, father, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Services will be Friday Sept. 12, 2014 at 10 am at First Assembly Of God in Bentonville. A private burial will follow.

Memorial funds may be made to Bentonville First Assembly Of God.

The Family would like to thank the Church and her friends for being such a big part of her life. She will be greatly missed.
