Ann Marie Morgan, 79, of Bristersburg, died Feb. 26 at Prince William Hospital. She was born in Washington, D.C., on July 30, 1926, to Forest Jerome and Stella Marie Hall. A Fauquier resident for almost 40 years, she was a farmer and raised feeder calves. Mrs. Morgan inherited Retinitis Pigmentosa and was able to adapt with the help of guide dogs, most recently her Yellow Labrador, Deanna. Mrs. Morgan was active with the RP Foundation, Guide Dogs for the Blind, and was a volunteer with the Virginia Department of the Visually Handicapped assisting others who have lost their sight. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis William Morgan, and her daughter, Sueann Morgan. Survivors include by 10 children, Michael Jerome Morgan of Falls Church, Bonnie Marie Morgan and Daniel William Morgan, both of Bristersburg, Timothy James Morgan of Falls Church, Nancy Madeline McCuiston of Richmond, Joel Hall Morgan of Bristersburg, Mary Jo Lynskey of Bealeton, William Francis Morgan of Blowing Rock, N.C., Brian Andrew Morgan of Lexington, Va., and Gregory Thomas Morgan of Bristersburg; 16 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends March 1 from 6-9 p.m. at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, and from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.on March 2, when a rosary will be recited before leaving in procession for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at the Warrenton Cemetery.
