Charles E. Carpenter
Charles E Carpenter, 84, of Winter Haven, Fla., formerly of Monroeville, died Monday evening in Winter Haven, where he had lived since 1972. Mr. Carpenter was an Allen County native, and was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are a son, Paul F., Mt (Mount) Dora, FL.; a daughter, Mrs. Opal C. Krick, Winter Haven; two stepsons, Ralph Futtrow (Fluttrow?) Fort Wayne, and Carl Futtrow, Monroeville; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Gladys Woods, Fort Wayne.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Marquart Funeral Home, Monroeville, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.
