Baby Elizabeth Parcel, "Aged 10 Months & 13 Days", was the daughter of American patriot Captain Thomas Parcel and his wife Lois. She died a year before her toddler sister, Lucy, and 2 years before her father was mortally wounded in the Revolutionary War Battle of Connecticut Farms, fought in present day Union, NJ. He gravestone, cut from brown sandstone, featuresa soul effigy of the winged skull type in its tympanum, a Puritanical image which had waned in popularity by the mid-1700's. Her Lucy's grave is to the left of hers, their parents' to the right.
