"Miami Youth Dies After Injuries In Automobile Wreck"
Narciso Gaona, 18-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Narciso Gaona of Porto Rico canyon, Miami, was fatally injured Friday afternoon and his three companions were hurt when the car in which they were riding toward Miami overturned on the Miami-Superior highway about eight miles west of Miami.
The injured youths, who were taken to the Miami Inspiration hospital for treatment, were Rafael Gaona, 13, Philip Ortega, 14, and Ramon Montes, 19. Montes was the most seriously hurt of the trio.
Chief Deputy William H. Richardson and Deputy Lon Walters Jr., who were investigated in the accident, said it was probably caused when the right rear tire blew out and forced the car over against the rocks on the side of the road. The youths wee crushed between the car and the rocks.
